Hallstabacken is today a full ski jump facility, suitable for international competitions. Here are 6 slopes with a lift, HS 120, HS 92, K55, K30, K20 and K10.
Hallstabacken is famous in the ski jumping world. In 1934 the FIS, Fédération Internationalede Ski, world championship was held in front of 20000 spectators. In 2003 the Junior World Championships was also held here.
The record jump at Hallstabacken is Thomas Morgenstern of Austria with 119,5 meters.
In 2003 the facility was supplemented by a snowmaking system, which was expanded in 2006.
The facility is well protected by terrain and is known for its wind-safe mode.
